How to transition summer pieces into your fall wardrobe

First of all, our apologies for not blogging within the past couple of weeks. September started off crazy busy for both Audrey and me in both our professional and personal lives. But alas, we are back and in full swinging mode!

September weather in the Midwest is very bipolar and can be unpredictable at times. One day you can experience the beautiful summer sunshine, the next it could be chilly enough to wear a sweater. This week's forecast has been rain, rain and...you guessed it...rain. You all know me, I'm very versatile in my wardrobe selection and my pieces are meant to be worn multiple times in multiple ways.

For this blog entry I wanted to demonstrate how easy it is to transition your summer pieces and incorporate them into your fall wardrobe. I bought my mustard-yellow Topshop slip dress back in July for my birthday dinner and I always knew I was going to transition it into fall. In this look I paired it with my Gap light wash denim jacket in which I rolled up both sleeves. I then finished it off with my Fossil crossbody bag and block heeled sandals. Once the weather truly turns into Minnesota chilly, I will be pairing the slip dress with a baggy slouchy sweater and my ankle booties. I cannot wait! Autumn, I got you fully covered.

Yours Truly,

Julie
